I can’t believe it’s already May! And that means it’s time to remind your husband and kids that Mother’s Day is around the corner. 😉
All homeschool moms want one of two things for Mother’s Day: something that will make their life easier or something they have had in their online checkout cart for a long time. 😆 In being a homeschool mom I know there are always things in my Amazon cart that I would love to have for schooling my kids. You know your a homeschool mom when the gifts that you ask for are really for your kids but make your life easier.
So below I put together a list of things that all homeschool moms need, want or would just really like to have. So scroll through these ideas and then send this blog post to your husband. 😊👍🏼
How cute are these shirts from Nikson and Co.! Of course us homeschool moms need a cute T-shirt we can just throw on in the morning anyway. 🙌🏼
Montessori Alphabet Letters are great for working on letter recognition, spelling, sight words, etc! These were on MY birthday list this year. 😆
Every homeschool mom can’t live without her laminator! I have this brand and it has worked great for 2 years now!
I love this book! Pressing Pause: 100 Quiet Moments for Moms to Meet With Jesus by Karin Ehman & Ruthie Schwink. Each day has a scripture, devotion, prayer and place to journal and reflect. I have found it so encouraging, helpful and rejuvenating for my spirit in those deep days of motherhood.
Wooden Hundred Frame by Treasures from Jennifer has been on my list for awhile! It has great reviews and multiple ways to use it. It comes with 100 wool or wood balls but can also buy letters, numbers, multiplication coins, fraction coins, or symbols coins to go with it!
I’m not a coffee drinker (I know I’m crazy) but many moms are, so these tumbler’s are perfect! I usually get my caffeine from soda around lunch to survive and this would still be great to keep it cold.
These pens are the best! A pen that’s erasable…yes please! I have them and use them every day!
These are my favorite early reading books/program for kids-Dash Into Reading. It is written and painted by a homeschool mom herself and they are so darling! Look how pretty they are! My daughter learned to read with these books and she loves them so much! Set 1 has 10 books and Set 2 releases this June!
And the last two are books for the homeschool mom. These books are to refresh and recollect the reason we homeschool and the way I wish to go about it. Great books!
Teaching From Rest by Sarah Mackenzie
Homeschool Bravely by Jamie Erickson
So there you have it. Some gift ideas for the homeschool mom. These are just a few but there are many different gift ideas. You can never go wrong with organization/office supplies or great books to add to their shelves.
To keep it super simple, homeschool moms also just enjoy a cute homemade card and some time alone. ☺️ A trip to a bookstore, out to grab a coffee, run an errand, or even go to the bathroom alone is all we need sometimes. 😉 My kids are my greatest gifts already but everyone needs a break to regroup and refresh.
Happy Mother’s Day to all you hardworking homeschool moms who go above and beyond for your kids everyday!
